Q. WHEN ARE YOU TAKING CUSTOM ORDERS?
A. Commissions open every first and second week of every month.

Q. WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CUSTOM KNIT PIECES & HOW MUCH?
A. We like to have creative control over designs but accept input/suggestions. We do give you the option to choose from the different fabrics sourced. Do let us know if there are any colors in specific you want so we can keep in mind when we are sourcing fabrics. You must provide exact sizes/measurements to leave room for little to no adjustments. Custom knit pants start at $300, all other knit pieces vary upon size, and design requested.

Q. WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR MY CUSTOM PIECE TO BE MADE?
A. Be sure to provide details of your exact measurements, a concise and brief description of what you want and upfront payment is required upfront to get the order started.

Q. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PIECES TO BE MADE?
A. Orders take up to 2-3 weeks to complete from the time the order was put in.

SHIPPING
Q. HOW QUICK IS SHIPPING, WHEN DO YOU SHIP?
A. For orders through our site, there is at least 3-5 business days to process. Your order will be delivered after 7-10 days after.

Q. What if I never received my package?
A. The Future Is Black owned is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once shipped. Upon request, we will confirm delivery to the address provided, tracking info and carrier information for you to investigate personally. If any items are lost or stolen it is your responsibility to receive compensation for lost or stolen packages at the fault of the shipping carrier.

Q. FOR CUSTOM PIECES, CAN I DO A RUSH ORDER?
A. If you have an order through our site for expedited shipping, please allow 3-5 days to process. Your order will be sent out the next business day after processing. If you need immediate shipping after order has been purchased,
For customer orders, rush shipping is only accepted for depending on the demand of commissions already taken. If we are able to do a rush order, it will be an extra fee.

Q. HOW DO I WASH MY KNIT GARMENT?
A. ALL knit pieces are to be hand-washed in warm or cool water and must be laid flat or hung up to dry.

Q. Refunds?
A. ALL items purchased on The Future Is Black Owned website is non-refundable. If merchandise needs to be altered because of sizing, we will offer one free alteration (customer is responsible for shipping costs) or one-time store credit equal or lesser value. If you received a damaged item on shipment arrival, please email us at thefutureisblackowned@gmail.com.

Q. What about returns or exchanges?
A. ALL items are FINAL sale unless approved by our team and it must within 15 days of purchase. We will not exchange any items purchased over 15 days under any circumstance.
