The Future Is Black Owned (TFIBO) is more than a brand, it’s a living movement. We are a creative collective and lifestyle brand producing wearable art, printed matter, and everyday objects rooted in Black life, culture, and imagination.
TFIBO exists to preserve, archive, and expand Black expression; from the past, present, and future. Through art, design, and storytelling, we promote freedom of expression, Black pride, and self-definition, treating fly shit not as a trend, but as a language, a lineage, and a way of being. Our work spans one-of-one garments, reconstructed pieces, posters, and cultural objects designed with intention. Each piece is created to be lived in, collected, and passed forward. We are honoring creativity as both practice and protest, beauty as resistance, and ownership as power.
We believe Black life is not monolithic. Our perspectives, aesthetics, and ways of moving through the world are limitless. TFIBO is a reflection of that multiplicity. We are a space where art and affirmation meet, where imagination is protected, and where future-building is an everyday act.
